What Are Keywords?

Now that we’ve talked a little about SEO, we need to talk about keywords.  But what are keywords?

When you go to Google and type in, for example, “Chicago mechanic”, Google will search the internet for that specific phrase.  In this case, Chicago mechanic is your keyword.  Keywords are the phrases or words that you plugged into the search bar.

When using SEO on your site, it’s important to know which keywords to implement in your content to get the best results.  What are keywords that people are searching for?  Google Analytics can help you find out what keywords are most searched.
